World Record Card

Good Morning! Didn't you love the blog hop?!?!?! I did, and I am super excited to start our "Monday Montage" next Monday. In the meantime, I want to let you know that I plan on trying to post regularly three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Onto today's project!

At Convention this year there was a challenge to set a Guinness World Record with the goal to send as many cards from a single location as possible. So everyone was asked to bring a card to send. Here is the card I made to send to a friend as apart of the World Record attempt.

This card features the Flower Shop stamp set, and the color scheme is Strawberry Slush, Daffodil Delight, and Smoky Slate. I LOVE Smoky Slate! It has quickly become my go to color.

The sentiment is from the retired Fabulous Phases stamp set (this is one of the few retired sets I have, I just love the sayings). I also used my two new favorite ribbons - the Chevron Ribbon and In Color Ruffled Ribbon! These are super fun by themselves, but even better together!

Stampin' Supplies:
  • Flower Shop and Fabulous Phrases (retired) Stamp Sets
  • Smoky Slate and Whisper White CS
  • scraps of Daffodil Delight and Strawberry Slush CS and Silver Glimmer Paper
  • Strawberry Slush and Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pads
  • Smoky Slate Chevron Ribbon
  • Strawberry Slush Ruffled Ribbon
  • Whisper White Baker's Twine
  • Itty Bitty Punch Pack
  • Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack w/ Stampin' Pierce Mat and Paper-Piercing Tool
We were able to set the record (I don't remember exactly how many cards were sent), and I hope this card made my friend smile.

Thanks for stopping by!
:) Kaitlyn
