Monday Montage - Thankful for You & Mini Envelopes

Welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! I hope you are enjoying these hops, we certainly are. All of these ladies are super talented, and I love being able to share my work alongside theirs. My project for this week is a fun card with mini envelopes.

The envelopes are made from the Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper, and their finished size is 1-1/2" x 1". To make these cute little envelopes, I cut my DSP to be 1-7/8" squares. I then used my Simply Scored and Diagonal Plate with score one at 1" and score two at 3/4" (score at 1" on two opposite sides, then at 3/4" on the other two opposite sides).

The heart from the Owl Builder Punch are the perfect size for a finishing touch to the envelopes. "Thankful for..." is from the Truly Grateful stamp set, and I always love a touch of paper-piercing.

All of the envelopes are closed shut except for one, which opens with a message inside that says "you." So the sentiment on the card reads "Thankful for you." Sweet isn't it?!?!? "You" is from the Fabulous Phrases stamp set and the type is almost a perfect match for the "Thankful for..." I chose to just have one message, but you could easily have a message in all of the envelopes!
