Monday Montage - Truly Grateful Candle

Yay, another Monday Montage Blog Hop!! I can't wait to see what these fabulous ladies have in store for us today! I hope you enjoy this hop as much as we do! Today, I have a candle to share with you that I decorated with the Truly Grateful stamp set.

To "stamp" on the candle I used the tissue paper technique. For this technique, you stamp you image on tissue paper, then you carefully melt the tissue paper into the candle with the Heat Tool. Once you get the hang of it, it is actually pretty easy.

After stamping on the candle it then needed some embellishments! I really love the Burlap Ribbon and Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon with this stamp set.  I also added Tangerine Tango and Crushed Curry Candy Dots to give just a little bit more color.

Stampin' Supplies:
  • Truly Grateful Stamp Set
  • Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Burlap Ribbon
  • Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon
  • Brights and Regals Candy Dots
  • Tissue Paper
  • Heat Tool
  • Candle

Smiles :)

  2. This is perfect for a mantle or the Thanksgiving table! I have never tried the "tissue paper technique" but I'm thinking I need to! TFS!
