If there is one good thing about Monday, it is definitely this blog hop! I love being able to share my work along side these super talented ladies! Today's project is another that was inspired by Pinterest (when you have time you can see it here).
I got the cardboard box letters at a craft store. I cut the letters open and hot glued what I cut out down into the letter so that the flowers could sit in the letters. With the flowers I wanted a fun spring color scheme, so I went with Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz, and Strawberry Slush.
This picture shows how the petals sit into and come out of the letters. Each flower is three layers. To get the extra dimension, I cut the flowers in between two petals and then glued the petals on top of each other, creating a cone shape. I also used my bone folder to curl the petals.
I love how these letters turned out! Now, I just need to find a good home for them!
