Owl Bag

I have the most adorable project to share with you today! I CASEd this owl bag from my upline, Jodi. She originally made it using a regularly sized brown lunch bag. I seen it and thought that it would be adorable in a mini version, and it is!

I used a Tag a Bag Gift Bag as the base for my owl. After I got my owl face just how I wanted it, I folded the top of the bag down and trimmed off the excess and then scalloped the edge.

These bags come flat, but with a little bit of scoring (see diagram above), you can make them into gusted bags!

The face is made from a variety of punches and Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper. The only trick I have is for the beak. You have to fold a piece of paper in half, then insert it into the Petite Pennants Builder Punch so the folded edge doesn't get cut off. These little bags are so cute and super easy to make!
