Strawberry Slush Cheer Up

Hey all! It has been a busy, busy week so far getting projects done for school and what not. The weather seems to be finally turning to spring (thank goodness!). Even though it is not quite spring yet, the colors in the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper makes me long for some summer sun!

I have doing lots of simple cards lately, and this one couldn't be any simpler! I played up the pattern of the Designer Series Paper by stamping and punching out some triangles from the Geometrical stamp set. It is almost like the triangles become apart of the pattern. Also, the triangles are like arrows and great at directing attention. So, have the point towards your focal point.

I seriously don't know what I would do without banners or flags! It seems like every card I make has one; they are just a great way to crop sentiments. A great tip I have for working with banners is to gently use your Bone Folder to create some bend in your paper. I like mine to bend up in the middle and back towards the end with the points coming back up. I also put some Dimensionals in the middle to help keep the bend in place.
