The colors I pulled from this picture were So Saffron, Pool Party, and Rose Red. There isn't a Stampin' Up! color that matches the purple-pinkish flowers, so I decided to go more pink with Rose Red. That is the great part! You don't have to match the picture exactly, just draw inspiration from it!
The awesome chevron background was created using the Positively Chevron stamp. I was originally going to heat emboss it in just Clear Embossing Powder, but then I thought that some sparkle would be great! So, I used the Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder on Whisper White card stock to get a little bit of shimmer and shine. I then spritzed the cardstock with a mixture of rubbing alcohol and So Saffron Ink Refill. The embossing resists the ink, so I wiped off the excess to let the chevron really shine!
I did something different on this card and reversed layered. Instead of layering on top of the Vellum Card Stock, I layered the Pool Party Designer Series Paper, Silver Ribbon, and Doilies beneath it. I love how this created some subtle details! A quick tip with stamping on vellum: heat emboss you image with Clear Embossing Powder to prevent smearing (check out my post about Embossing in Every Color).
