Booming with Kindness Birthday

Hello again! Last month, my family and I attended a surprise birthday party for a friend. It was pretty funny when she opened the card as she instantly knew who the beautiful handmade card was from. I think this card turned out great and I am glad she loved it!

For this card, I used the Blooming with Kindness stamp set. This is an older stamp set, but I just love that bloom image and the sentiments that go along with it. I stamped the bloom in Hello Honey on Very Vanilla Card Stock and then built the card around that. I really love what the Woodgrain Embossing Folder really adds to this card. I wasn't loving the card until I embossed that layer.

The Burlap Ribbon works really well on this card, especially with the edges left more raw. I used a piece of Hello Honey Satin Ribbon to tie the sentiment to the image. Some fast stitching finished the card and really made it complete.
