Pleasant Poppies Blendabilities

Hi all! I am finally getting back into the swing of things after being home for a week. It was a good trip and I'm glad I went, but it is always good to be home. Today I have a card to share with you that I made before I left. This is another card that features the new awesome Blendabilities!

If you haven't heard yet, the Blendabilites will start to be available in July! Tomorrow you will be able to order seven assortments (Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, and Skin Tone) and the neccessary accessories. To make it even better, the rest of the Blendabilities will be available August 1st! On this card I enjoyed using the Blendabilities to color the Pleasant Poppies stamp.

For the flowers I actually used the medium Rich Razzleberry and medium Daffodil Delight instead of just one color assortment. Purple and yellow are complementary colors (across from each other on the color wheel), so you get a great brown color when you combine them. This makes the flowers look a touch more realistic. If you aren't comfortable mixing colors, just stick with one color assortment!

One of my favorite parts of the Blendabilities is being able to color the Vintage Faceted Buttons! I just love the color it gives them! (See another here.) Have you gotten your hands on the new In Color ribbon yet??? It is great!!
