Hotel Room Card

Hooray it's Friday!!! I am beyond excited, because in five short days I will be on my way to Salt Lake City for Stampin' Up!'s Convention!! I can't wait to relax, stamp, and hang out with friends! In the meantime, I want to share a card with you that I made when I was in Taiwan. Yup, that's right, I managed to make this adorable card in my hotel room.

I like to include little mementos in my travel journal, so the only crafting supplies I had with me was the Retro Fresh Washi Tape. Fortunately we were able to find a paper shop and picked up a pack of paper, glue, scissors, and a nice ink pen. If we hadn't found that store, I don't know what I would have done!

With such limited supplies, I was able to get a little bit more creative with my sentiment. I had no stamps or ink pads (I know! Hard to believe I made a card without these essentials.), so I decided to give some hand lettering a try. I took lots of practice tries, but I love how it turned out! I want to practice a little bit more, and perhaps you will see a tutorial in the future!

Stampin' Supplies (the equivalents to what I used):
  • Retro Fresh Designer Washi Tape
  • Pool Party and So Saffron CS
  • Project Life Journaling Pens
I think that has to be the shortest supply list ever!

Smiles :)
