#Awesomeness - CCC #040

Hey all! Can you believe it is August already?!?!? In just a few short weeks I'll be starting another semester. I don't think I am ready to be back yet! The best part about a new month is a new challenge over on Catherine and Cathy Create! This month's challenge is "Social Media," and there are some great new stamp sets in the Annual Catalog for it!

I didn't originally make this card for this challenge. My inspiration was actually my cup...yup my cup. It has a really pretty purple to red to orange gradient that I wanted to recreate on a card. So I grabbed my Aqua Painter and some Watercolor Paper and went to town with Rich Razzleberry, Real Red, and Tangerine Tango ink. I really love how it turned out! I then embossed the sunburst image, from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set, in Crushed Curry. Everything else just fell into place after that!

The sentiments on this card made it perfect for this "Social Media" challenge! The abbreviated "thanks" is from the Circle Card Thinlits Die. Did you forget that there were some other awesome dies with these card dies... because I sure did!! I'm glad I rediscovered them! I have become a big fan of hash-tags, so the @SoSocial stamp set was at the top of my wishlist. I just love how you can add a little secondary message!
