Adorable Lumber Jack Box - Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome to another Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! I'm really excited to share this project with you today, it is one of my favorites! When I first seen the Wood You Be Mine? stamp set, I was in love. This stamp set is so stinking adorable and is meant to be paired with the Hardwood background stamp.

I decided the stamps would be perfect for a box. (You should know by know that I love a good treat box.) The box was a breeze to make because I used two treat bags cut out with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies. I just had to cut and score a piece of card stock for the bottom.

I stamped my lumber jack in StazOn and used my Aqua Painter to color him with Calypso Coral, Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, and Night of Navy. The lumber jack is stamped separate from the tag and cut out so that he literally stands out. I used my Basic Black and Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Markers to get two colors on the "Timber!" sentiment.

The box is actually made out of Crumb Cake Card Stock. I embossed the Hardwood image in Early Espresso and then sponged White Craft Ink over the whole thing to get a great white washed wood look. Some of the awesome Washi Sheets punched with the Confetti Hearts Border Punch easily ties the box to the Calypso Coral from the tag. The Painted Blooms Cotton Twine does the same thing and is a nice pretty touch.

Ok. Now, let me talk to you about this bag that goes inside the bag. It is awesome! I first stamped the cello bag with the wood image in White StazOn, and it was great. Then I had all those little washi hearts hanging around and decided they needed to go on the bag too! The picture doesn't really show how awesome those hearts and stamped images are on this bag. It was the perfect touches to send this project over the top!
