A couple of weekends ago, I was able to get together and go kayaking with some friends from high school. We don't see much of each other any more, so it was great to spend a day catching up with each other. Obviously a scrapbook page was need to document the day. For the base of the page I used the new Thick Whisper White Card Stock. This card stock is the best for a foundation of a project; it just feels so much more substantial than normal card stock.
The thick card stock was also great for cutting out the hexagons without worrying that the paper would tear. Since you can't fit a full sheet of card stock through the Big Shot, I actually used the Hexagon Hive Thinlit as a stamp and then cut out the hexagons by hand. The pattern from Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper is the first fun and cheerful element on this page. Some different layers provide lots of texture and some visual interest. The "happy" from the Hello You Thinlits is a perfect for title for this page! Overall, from the photo to the details this page just simply makes me happy.
