Market Fresh Note Cards - Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Hello! It is time for a new Artisan Design Team blog hop! This week we are sharing projects that use the Market Fresh Stamp Set and Farmers Market Designer Series Paper. These are products that I would have never ordered on my own but I absolutely love how my project turned out. You will be adding this stamp set to your wish list after seeing everyone's projects!

These images fit nicely on a note card. I just kept it simple and let the images really shine with just a touch of the Farmers Market Designer Series Paper on the cards. It is so easy to make coordinating envelopes with the Envelope Liner Framelits, so I do it whenever I can.

The images in the Market Fresh Stamp Set are made for water-coloring. So that is what I did! I originally colored the images with colors that I simply liked. Then I realized that the colors didn't coordinate with the Farmers Market Designer Series Paper. Instead of re-stamping and water-coloring the images, I just added another layer of color that would match the paper. This was the best mistake ever! I love the two toned effect that this created! (You can see all the colors I used in the supply list below.) Another great thing about these cards is the embossed Silver Foil Sheets, it is such a special touch. If you are going to heat emboss on foil sheets just be sure to use your Embossing Buddy and to keep the Heat Tool moving.

The last thing with this project is to just package it up. As I have said before, my favorite way to package note cards is with a vellum envelope wrapped with a belly band. I just used some of the same Designer Series Paper and Silver Baker's Twine to tie the packaging to the cards inside it.
