Banners for You - Fancy Friday

Can you believe it is almost August?!?!? Craziness! Even though time is flying by me the end of the month is a good thing, because it means a new Fancy Friday Blog Hop. Yay! This month we are showing off our favorite bundles from the Annual Catalog. One of my absolute favorites is the Banners for You Stamp Set and Bunch of Banners Dies. I've already made a bunch cards (like this one) with the flowers blooming from behind the banners, so today I want to show you new ways to use this awesome bundle.

On this first card I used the cute floral images from the stamp to create a background. The White Craft Ink stamps so nicely on Kraft Card Stock, and a little bit of Vellum Card Stock nicley compliments the stamping. This soft, pretty, and neutral background allows the banner to really stand out.

Stampin' Supplies

  • Banners for You Stamp Set (bundle)
  • Watermelon Mambo, Delightful Dijon, and White Craft Ink Pads
  • Whisper White, Vellum, and Kraft Card Stock
  • Blushing Bride Baker's Twine
  • Bunch of Banners Dies (bundle)
  • Big Shot
  • Magnetic Platform

On this card I used the Labeler Alphabet to create a custom saying. The letters fit perfectly inside the banner - it is like it was meant to be! Instead of using the dies to cut out the banner for a layer, I used them to create a window for a shaker card. So much fun!

Stampin' Supplies

As you can see the Banners for You Bundle is super versatile and so much fun to use! Be sure to continue along the hop to see more amazing projects with new bundles.
