When I sat down to make this card I was going to make a swap (something easy to make multiplies of), but I quickly got carried away with the fussy cutting. I arranged the flowers and leaves to create a heart focal point. The heart shape isn't super clear so I reinforced it with some stitching. Since the floral heart is a busy background, I put a layer of vellum behind the sentiment so that the two elements didn't compete. I really loved how the focal point of the card turned out so I kept the embellishments simple with baker's twine and metallic sequins.
